Queen Latifah visits 'Sesame Street'
Queen Latifah will be welcoming home the troops on a very special episode of “Sesame Street.”
The primetime special, titled “Coming Home: Military Families Cope With Change,” tells the story of men and women coming home from overseas and the struggles they face. It will also talk about the process of their families finding a “new normal” after a mom or dad has been gone for a while.
The special, also featuring singer John Mayer, will give the public a look at the powerful affects that war can have on a family and the strength it takes to make it through a military deployment.
You and your kids can see the Queen make her royal visit together because “Coming Home: Military Families Cope With Change” airs at 8 p.m. EST on April 1 on PBS.
