Queen Latifah sued by stylists
There’s a lack of u-n-i-t-y in Queen Latifah’s camp now that two of her subjects are suing.
The Associated Press reports that Roxanna Floyd, Latifah’s makeup consultant, filed a lawsuit in Manhattan Federal Court on Monday. She claims that the rapper-turned-actress owes her $700,000 for work she did between July 2005 and February 2008.
Fashion stylist Susan Moses filed a separate suit stating that the Queen still needs to fork over $300,000 for her service during the same period.
A rep for Latifah, Amanda Silverman, told the AP that lawsuits are without merit, but that she could make any further comments.
