Lauryn Hill to perform at Montreux Jazz Fest
Ready or not, Lauryn Hill is coming back with a performance at The 43rd Annual Montreux Jazz Festival.
Lauryn will be center stage for a concert at the Stravinski Auditorium in Switzerland on July 11 at 8 p.m. Of course, Jazz fans might also want to see Simone (Nina Simone’s daughter), she’s performing on the same night.
The festival, which runs from July 3-18, will also feature performances by B.B. King and The Black Eyed Peas (July 6 Stravinski Auditorium). Herbie Hancock and Donna Summer will perform at the Stravinski Auditorium during the two-week festival too.
However things will be poppin’ at Miles Davis Hall as well! Mos Def and his live band are doing a show there on July 4 as part of The Ecstatic Tour. Q-Tip and Raphael Saadiq will be doing sets there on July 9. Grace Jones and Babyface are also set to perform at Miles Davis Hall.
If you’re heading to Switzerand this summer, visit The Montreux Jazz Festival’s website for the full list of concerts and ticket information.
