I would like to first start off by asking you is this the first black man you dated? Now, I noticed that you talk about the looks you constantly get from us black women, I was wondering why you forgot to mention the looks you get from your white sisters. Let me ask, how many arguments have you had with members of your own family about your dating this black man. I truly believe your issue is not with us black women, but with yourself. The next time you want to write a letter demeaning us black women, you really need to do your research. The same way you say all these black successful men want to wine and dine you white women....Let me tell you, I am a successful black women, working for a fortune 500 company, and there are many, many, many, white men, whom not to mention are married to a white woman and constantly ask to take me out, wine and dine me and just want a taste of chocolate. It's funny you call yourself disgusted, more like disgusting. Most of the black men who go out with white women, are going out with them cause they cant handle a strong black women. I have lots of friends and family who date white women. Do you know why they are dating these white women, not because we are fat or loud or obnoxious. Because we have pride in ourselves and we were raised different. We will not allow our men to run over us, they cant come in when they want from cheating, tell us some cheap lie about a flat tire or working late and we pat them on the back and say "OH, honey im so sorry. Let me give you a massage and make you feel better." No thank you white girl, we'll leave that to you. WE know our worth, we know our strengths and we stand for what we believe in . Maybe we are not frowning at the fact that you are with a black man, but maybe they are wondering why you wanted something we threw in the trash. By the way, since your so high and mighty and think we dont know how to treat our men, did you stop to think about the history of the whole white/black era. It was the white men, who while we were enslaved that was sneaking out the house to the slave shacks to sleep with the black women. Yes, I know you probably thought it was because they were hurting us, but truth be told this was because they werent getting satisfied by the white women they had in the house. It was the black women then that was cooking your meals, raising your kids, growing your crops and everything else. By the way did you stop to think that it was a BLACK WOMAN that raised your black man. I wonder what she would say about your letter. I wonder how he would feel about you once his mother spoke on how she felt. So dont get all caught up on in your feelings honey and think you are on some high horse. Cause I will be that strong black woman to know you down. I am not a racist, but I cant stand certain kinds of stupid crap. You are very ignorant and know nothing about black woman, and while we are on the subject, have you thought about the fact that if you plan to be with this black man, you are running the risk of creating a black woman your self, cause honey let me tell you, if you have an ounce of black in you, your considered Black. So before you go talking down on us black women, thinking you have a prize, you might want to realize that you being with a black man, to your white peers, they are stereotyping you the same way you are us. To them you are one of us black women. Maybe that is the true issue. Do you want to be black? Now, you did your research and named all the black successful men who are married/dating white women. Do me a favor, do your research and respond back with all the WHITE famous/successful men who are married to black women. Matter of fact, do me one better and name all of the BLACK SUCCESSFUL men married to BLACK women. Grow up and dont hate me cause you aint me.

How dare you? How dare you talk about black women they way you did? How dare you speak of WOMEN the way you did? What gives you the right to feel superior? Do you not realize that you disrespected the women in your man's life? The man you claim to love. Do you have any black friends? Do you know the history as to Why Black women are percieved the way they are. Aggressive, bossy, big and loud? Trust me :disgusted white girl," I am disgusted by you. You are the type of women who makes black women aggressive and you are the kind of woman who make white women snobbish and ignorant. You are the type of women who demean women in general. As a girl with a mixed family, I was thought to be proud of my heritage. It's a pity that you insulted your man and the women who shaped him. I wonder why you were even attracted by him? If you have such contempt for black women; you may not associate with black men either. Change your attitude and your outlook and maybe they will stop seeing you as a dumb girl.

As for you Black Royalty, get down for your high horses and your throne. I was as disgusted by your comments as I was by "disgusted white girl" While I understand your outrage. You just demean all women. For your information, my mother is white and she is the strongest woman I have ever met. She went to church like the black women and was raised stricly. I write this letter for all women. Enough with this crazy rivalry between sisters of color and white women alike. Women have been oppressed for ages. Respect yourselves, Learn to value yourselves . As for yourblack royalty as much as you have praised black women, you demean another. We are all women. We have all our difference and hang ups because of history and background. For those in interracial relationship, I hope your don't define your relation based on color but based on love and attraction. Such a shame!

The comment from the brother was great. I'd also like to add that this white woman has obvisiously come to her conclusions based on what a black man (men) has told her and a certain type of black man at that. If the black man that you are dating went for you for the reasons you state in your letter. I'd be a little leary, Many black men blame black women as though he has no responsibility for how the relationship turned out suggesting that if he just dated outside of his race, that would solve the problem. The only reason black women have a problem with the black men dating white women is the black man's rationale for doing so. We don't care who you date if it's for the right reasons not because there is something's wrong with us. You state that you are engaged to this brother, I'd like to hear what you have to say a couple of years from now. I also know a lot of white girls who are sorely dissillusioned with black men after dating them as well. In the end, it's the kind of person you are, not your race that matters.
