Jay-Z’s got business scents
Jay-Z is capturing the essence of Kanye West and Rihanna in bottles.
Iconic Fragrances, Jay’s licensing company, has signed a deal with Parlux Fragrances to sell a series of scents, E! Online reports. The first fragrances, slated for a 2010 release, will be created by Kanye West and Rihanna respectively.
"We are excited for the opportunity to partner with Parlux and their management team in the launch of these dynamic new brands," said Jay-Z in a press release.
To top it off, Hov is also in negotiations to create a scent of his own under the deal; he and Parlux are also talking about a fourth fragrance by a “well-established,” but unnamed female artist. There’s no word on who she is, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Beyoncé was designing her bottle right now.
We wonder what Yeezy will call his cologne. Maybe Heartless by Kanye West?
