Tons of Michael Jackson’s personal possessions are hitting the auction block in Beverly Hills next week.

More than 2,000 of Michael’s items, including his famous rhinestone glove, will be auctioned off over four days. Julien’s Auctions, who is holding the sale, will start the bidding on April 22 at 9 a.m. PST.
 
Darren Julien of  Julien’s auction told NPR's "Morning Edition" that he tried to re-create Neverland in order to give buyers a look into Michael’s life.
 
All of the lots come from Michael’s Neverland Ranch, which he moved out of after being acquitted on charges of child molestation.
 
Among the items up for sale are an MTV Music Award, a crown, a thrown, a seriously-pimped-out Rolls Royce Limo and even the gilded gates to Neverland.  Quirkier pieces on the auction block include a statue of Mijac as a California Raisin and pinball machines.  You can see everything they’re sellin off by clicking here.
 
Michael has tried to stop the auction by filing a suit and requesting the right to take some of his most prized possession from the auction, but the courts have turned him down.
 
Still Darren expects that Michael could make a substantial amount of money (he’s expecting a $12 million haul).  A portion of the proceeds are going to MusiCares, an organization designed to help musicians in need of help.
