Sanaa Lathan heads to ‘Cleveland’

Sanaa Lathan is the latest star to lend her voice to “The Cleveland Show.”

The show is a spin-off of Fox’s animated hit "Family Guy", so expect the same brand on foolishness to play across your screen this fall when “The Cleveland Show” premieres. Sanaa said that she will be the voice of Donna Tubbs.

“One of the things I love about this job is that, first of all, it is hysterical.  So funny, so wrong,” Sanaa told
HipHollywoood.com. “The things they have these characters saying you can’t believe.”

What’s the other thing she loves about working on the cartoon?  The fact that she can show up to work in her sweat clothes.

Sanaa will be working with at least one familiar face (or voice), as Taraji P. Henson will also be voicing a character on the show.  The ladies worked together on Tyler Perry’s The Family That Preys last year.  Did we mention that Kanye West will also have a role on the show?
