Whitney Houston finds strength for comeback

Whitney Houston is doing it big for her comeback single.

Mega songwriter Diane Warren revealed that she would be writing Whitney’s comeback single at the Experience Music Project’s Pop Conference in Seattle, Vibe.com reports.

“The song is called ‘I Didn’t Know My Own Strength,’” Diane announced to the audience in Seattle on April 17.  She told them that she wrote the song especially for Whitney. “I tried to get inside her head, “ she said. "Whitney's back. Big time.”

Miss Houston is going to be in good hands with Diane; she’s the pen behind some of our favorite powerhouse ballads like Toni Braxton’s “Unbreak My Heart,” and Celine Dion’s “Because You Loved Me.”

“I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” will be featured on Whitney’s next album, which will be produced by David Foster. Guests at Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy party got to hear Whitney perform the song live on February 7. The rest of us will just have to wait until the album is released to get a listen, and some have speculated that it could be dropping this year.
