Kelly Rowland rolls out 'The Fashion Show'
Kelly Rowland is all set to get her Heidi Klum on when she judges "The Fashion Show," Thursday nights on Bravo.
The show, which famed designer Isaac Mizrahi will host, pits 15 professional designers against each other as they compete for the $125,000 cash prize plus the chance to have their designs sold in stores.
Before you even ask the question, there's only one of us on the show: Tennessee native and boutique owner Reco.
Kelly, IMG Fashion Senior Vice-President Fern Mallis and different celebrity guests (we know Veronica Webb shows up at some point) will do the judging each week after the contestants compete in two challenges: the Harper's Bazaar Mini Challenge and an elimination challenge.
While Kelly and Fern will decide who gets cut week to week, fans of the show will have a say in who wins the big prizes.
And while this show is clearly replacing "Project Runway," the monster hit that jumped ship from Bravo to Lifetime, we wonder if it will live up to its predecessor, stylistically? Judging from this preview, unfortunately, we think not.
At least there will be lots of tears, capes (check out the contestant Merlin, that "breathes fashion") and snarky gossip to keep us entertained.
Catch the series premiere Thursday, May 7 at 10 p.m. EST on Bravo.
