No court cameras for Lil Wayne
An Arizona Superior Court judge has banned cameras from Lil Wayne’s drug trial.
According to AllHipHop.com, Judge Mark Wayne Reeves ruled that press will be allowed in the courtroom and that they are clear to report on the trial.
However, he decreed that Wayne’s right to a fair trial was more important. Judge Reeves decided against allowing cameras in court so that the proceedings would not turn into a media circus.
Weezy was arrested in January 2008 after cops allegedly found cocaine, ecstasy and weed on his tour bus after they stopped it on Interstate 8.
Wayne was also arrested on weapons charges at that time, but those were dropped because it was discovered that his .40 caliber pistol has been registered under a Florida concealed weapons permit.
