Ne-Yo brings fans closer
Ne-Yo needs another backup dancer when he performs at the 2009 BET Awards. Do you have what it takes to join him?
BET.com has launched a national online competition called Bringing It to the Awards. They’re looking for the crooner’s background dancer for the show on June 28.
The contest runs from now until June 4, and aspiring dancers can upload their best videos to BET.com. Site staff will only select 30 dancers as finalists based on skills, popularity and overall appeal.
Submissions can be between 30 and 60 seconds. Anything longer (or shorter) than that is not eligible for consideration. As a tip: Make sure you’re dancing in a well-lit area and that the video is clear so that people can see what you’re doing. Also, give yourself as much room as possible to move around. And if you have to do it your room, please make sure you tidy it up first.
After that, Ne-Yo will bring the top two dancers out to Los Angeles to learn the moves. The winner will be revealed during his performance.
