Sheree to Lisa: 'Fashion isn't your passion'

    Fri, 05/15/2009 - 08:26 — whitney

Sheree Whitfield, cast member on Bravo's hit reality show "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," unveiled her She by Sheree clothing line in Atlanta recently. This time around, the clothes themselves also made an appearance.

Viewers of the first season of the show will remember that She by Sheree hosted an unveiling with painted models and appetizers, but no clothes. Sheree's second event looked to be a success, and was attended by all of the Housewives (including NeNe Leakes and new girl on the block, Kandi Burruss), Angie Stone, S2S' own Jamie Foster Brown, Bobby Valentino and producer Jazze Pha.

Sheree accessorized her strapless teal dress (her own design, of course) with a handsome young boy toy who she said was "just a friend."

Essence caught up with the NFL wife turned designer after her big night and, after the gushing about her line, she had a few choice words for her co-star and fellow fashion neophyte Lisa Wu-Hartwell.

"Doing a fashion line is a lot of hard work," Sheree said. "For Lisa, this isn't her passion, and she hired someone to do the line for her."

In Sheree's mind, outsourcing the dirty work is a business no-no. "This should be your passion. You need to know about the color forecast or the next season, and all the things that go into this business," she said. "You have to be dedicated and put in the time if you want it to really be successful."

Sheree Whitfield is famous for quite a lot of things especially in tailoring the fashion world. His sense of fashion is quite unique but it's quite trendy as observed in the show. The designers have sorted out exclusive fashion accessories like from Ed Hardy, Prada and some exclusive replica bags which is just fabulous.

Procrastination is the fear of success. People procrastinate because they are afraid of the success that they know will result if they move ahead now. Because success is heavy, carries a responsibility with it.
