Tyra gets two emmy noms

Tyra Banks might want to start getting her acceptance speech ready now that she's been nominated for a Daytime Emmy.

"The Tyra Banks Show" is up for Outstanding Talk Show-Informative, and she's competing against "Dr. Phil" and "A Place of Our Own." The show has also been nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Mutiple Camera Editing category.

The announcement was made live on "The View," which has been named in seven categories including Outstanding Talk Show Host and Outstanding Talk Show-Entertainment.

You can see who takes home a statuette when ABC airs the "Daytime Emmy Awards" on June 20 at 8 p.m. EST.

Tyra's other show, "America's Next Top Model," just wrapped for the season and Teyona Anderson has been named the winner.

But what would  reality show be without some behind-the-scenes drama? ANTM judge Paulina Porizkova has recently been knocked from the panel.

The model told "Late Late Show" host Craig Ferguson that she was fired on her birthday, April 9. "It seemed that the show had gotten too fat, and they need to cut some fat," Pauline explained, "and the fat was me."

She didn't say who fired her, but she had a few catty things to say.
