Shaunie O’Neal recently wondered why reality shows featuring Black women catch a lot of flack while shows like “Real Housewives of New Jersey” and “Mob Wives,” with a majority White cast, don’t receive the same criticism.

It’s 2011, do Blacks and other minorities in the entertainment industry STILL have to worry that what they do and say in public reflects on the entire community? If so, then why aren’t brothers on the street assumed to be future presidents?

What do you think?

Why?

African Americam/Black women have always been seen a lower class citizens for decades. It doesn't help when women of color don't uphold themselves in a way they don't want to be seen. We all know the media loves to criticizes black women all day everyday. It's a hobby to the media.  This will not change until black/white women are seen as equals..
