My name is Holly Maxwell now Holle'Thee Maxwell I went to Parker Highschool in Chicago, Illinois with Jamie Foster. I AM an entertainer that has been living in Paris, France for years, came home...Chicago to care for my mother whom is aging! Why is it so hard for a ex-felon to get a job?
HI my name is Nikki and, I am a ex-felon I was incarcerated for the last past year in Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women. Prior to my release six months ago I cant find work anywhere I have looked every where no results I am constantly on the internet all day everyday looking for work no luck. At times I find it very depressing its is like I really wanna gave up. At timesI feel worthless like what is the my self purpose in life. I read in magazines where when when celebrities get incarcerated they really dont lose anything it seems like it is good for there career like they got overnight sucess but, for a average person like me it is hard as hell. In the last past year I have had so many hardships I have lost everything custody of my son house car etc pretty much everything I asking can you please help. First let me state I am a black man and I do believe your question was directed to me and my kind. While I respect the brothers response to you, I must say the brother was on point in reference to the past, however I sadly say that was the PAST!!! You are on point with your analysis of todays black woman. I too am college educated and have a decent job and am more than capable of holding my own. I have dated mostly black women and the sisters are for the most part a TRUE MESS!!! I am from 1 of the blackest big cities in the country (Detroit), and while I LOVE the shapes and look of 90% of the sisters I have found that their minds are F----- up!!! I have found that I can only deal with them for short periods of time because like you said they are always complaining about something, like their babies daddy (And they are the one who chose to have a baby or 2,or 3 with him), have some DUMB drama going on, always begging for TIME, MONEY, SEX, ATTENTION and for you to COMPLETE them. If you have 2 and 3 babies daddies why in the hell would I want to wife you NOW!!! And as far as the brother saying white women are easier than black women sex wise, N----- PLEASE!!! I have F----- so many sisters on the 1st and 2nd date its not even funny. I of course know a lot of brothers as well and the story is the same. I truly WISH that my concern was with my woman making MORE than me or DRIVING a better car than me. The brother that responded is 1 of a few things 1) He is soft as hell and has dealt with a very small number of women 2) Luckily has found a true GEM like our president 3) Is in DEEP DENIAL about whats going on with todays black woman. While he was able to name a selected few financially stable brothers if he were to truly crunch the numbers there are FAR MORE successful black men who chose WHITE women because of the very reasons the WHITE GIRL mentioned. And while I have not chosen to settle down with a white woman and will most likely never do so, I must honestly say "SISTERS WAKE THE F--- UP!!!! Get it together thats not considered being a "strong person" by having an attitude problem and not being able to get along with people. Most of you even say you don't have too many female friends because they act out". Its not really smart "knowing what you want at any cost" when you want a man that has multiple kids by multiple women and NO MEANS of taking care of them or you. Sisters that make your own money its not cool to want a i.e. ROUGHNECK (MC LYTE), HOTBOY (MISSY ELLIOTT/EVE), SOLDIER (DESTINY'S CHILD) need I continue?
