Tameka Foster has finally been released from the hospital after a medical mishap in Brazil.

A spokeswoman for the Sirio-Libanes Hospital said Tameka was released Monday, but wouldn’t give up any further details, the Associated Press reports.

Photographers caught Tameka walking in a Brazilian airport and talking on a cell phone on Wednesday.   She had just spent 11 days recovering after she went into cardiac arrest while getting anesthesia for liposuction.

Ellen Dastry, a rep for Tameka’s would-be doctor, told People that Tameka got the green light for surgery because her pre-surgical test results showed that she was in good health.

Tameka, who never actually got the procedure done, was placed into an induced coma.

Usher, at news of his wife’s serious medical emergency, cancelled his performance at Clive Davis’s Pre-Grammy party on February 7 to be by Tameka’s side.

After Tameka was revived, S2S reported that she was coherent enough to speak the Monday following her surgical scare.
