Brandy and Maks respond to ‘DWTS’ elimination

Brandy was robbed on “Dancing With the Stars,” but she’s handling that in stride and with grace.
After last night’s shocking elimination, Brandy was hard pressed to keep a dry eye or express her feelings. “I don’t know how to feel right now. It hasn’t processed yet for me,” Brandy admitted on-air last night.
As soon producers ran a package of her time during the competition, she collapsed into tears. Like any good professional partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy was there to offer her a shoulder to cry on.
While Brandy was at a loss for words for much of last night, Maks had a few choice words, which he delivered via Twitter.
“WOW! What can I say?” he tweeted Tuesday night “Was raised in a very 'justice driven' household & see no justice in 'DWTS'.”
He added, “Sorry @4everBrandy if I failed US. You were AMAZING tonight and always!”
Maks didn’t have too much to worry about because Brandy reassured her pro that he could never fail her.
With the initial heartbreak of being booted from ballroom behind her, Brandy is handling her astonishing oust much better. The first order of business was to deliver the exit speech she was too shocked to give yesterday.
“My life has truly changed from one of the most challenging experiences of my life! My confidence, strength, and passion has reawakened:),” Brandy tweeted this morning. “I am forever grateful to God and all of you who believed when I didn't! Thank you so much for being the best fans in the whole world!! “
So far, Brandy has managed to avoid making any digs at Bristol Palin, who beat her out for the last spot in the finals. However, the same cannot be said of some Brandy fans who suspect that the voting for “DWTS” was rigged in Bristol’s favor.
