Faith Evans cuts DUI deal

Faith Evans is avoiding jail time for her recent DUI arrest.

TMZ.com reports that the “Gone Already” singer has been sentenced to 36 months of probation after copping a plea deal. Instead of doing hard time, Faith simply had to pleaded “no contest” to two DUI charges she faced following her arrest in August.

The judge in Faith’s case also ordered her to pay $300 in fines and finish a three-month alcohol program. Oh, and Faith can’t drive with any detectible amount of alcohol in her body.

Under the terms of her plea deal, Faith is getting off relatively easy. Had she not accepted the deal and been convicted on the DUI charges, Faith could have faced up to six months behind bars.
