Snoop Dogg is celebrating his favorite lady in the video for “New Year’s Eve.”
Who needs video models? Not Snoop! Shante Broadus, aka Boss Lady, is front-and-center in the ultra-smooth clip for “New Year’s Eve.” It’s the first single from the Doggfather’s upcoming album, Doggumentary Music: 0020.
The video follows Snoop and Shante to a speakeasy-style party, where they preside over the crowd as the top couple. While many of Snoop’s songs are about him and how awesome he is, “New Year’s Eve” is a vocal love letter to his wife.
We are loving the video, which you can watch below, and Marty James’ vocals on the track add just the right flow.
