Most entertainers are taking out some time to spend with their families and friends, but there are a few musical soldiers who are in the trenches promoting, performing and kicking it with their fans over the other season.

Chris Brown
 
R&B Singer Chris Brown is partying his way through this holiday season! He brought in Christmas Eve popping bottles and he’s inviting his loyal fans along for the party, saying, “2nite [Dec 23] I'll be at Webster Hall in NYC for my All Black Xmas Extravaganza... come through!”
 
Chris has a lot to celebrate this holiday season. On December 20, he completed a court-ordered 52-week Domestic Violence Course, and his hit single “No Bullsh@!” is taking over the radio airwaves.

Brandy/Ray J/Nick Cannon
 
Superstar R&B singer Brandy has had a very busy 2010. While being a fierce competitor on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars”, she was also shooting the second season of the hit VH1 reality show “Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business” and began recording her sixth studio album.
 
On a recent segment of “Rollin’ With Nick Cannon,” Brandy revealed she is looking forward to spending the holidays with her family. “Everyone’s coming over, I have a big tree and lots of decorations. My mom only cooks twice a year, so we all look forward to that,” said Brandy.
 
“Brandy [has] a huge tree in her house,” Brandy’s brother Ray J confirmed before getting Nick to talk about his holiday plans. “Nick, I know you going to have a good Christmas.”
 
“Well you know my wife [Mariah Carey] is Miss Christmas, we have 10 trees all over the place,” Nick said. “It’s crazy but I love it.”
 
Brandy took to her Twitter account on Christmas Eve to get her followers thinking about their New Year’s resolution. “Start your new years resolution off right tweeties with the weight loss teas from www.drteasonline.com!!” she tweeted

Mannie Fresh
 
We caught up with the “Number One Stunna,” Mannie Fresh to see what he has planned for his holiday season.
 
“Man I just want to give love to the world, pray and thank God for letting me live this long,” said Mannie. “On Christmas Day, I’m just going to go to church and spend the rest of the time with my family. But later that night, I’m going to be DJing at the Precinct Nightclub in New Orleans so that should be fun.”



Regina King


Regina King is making up for lost time this holiday season. The “Southland” star told S2S that she’ll be spending Christmas “somewhere warm and sunny.”
 
“[My son and I] didn’t get to go on vacation this summer, so this will be our summer vacation,” she explained.

Monica
 
R&B veteran Monica was a little late on shopping this year for her two little boys. “Just finished Christmas shopping ... Anything for my babies. Now time for wrapping,” she tweeted bright and early on Christmas Eve. “God Bless u all especially the children Merry Christmas.” 


 
She also sent her fans into the New Year with the message of self love, tweeting, “To all my ladies I learned this year that true love happens when u don't look search or plan for it. Love you & someone else will 2.”

Nicki Minaj
 
Hip-Hop’s new barbie Nicki Minaj will be spending her Christmas making sure she hits platinum status in 2011, by performing in Bronx, NY at the Paradise Theater.


 
Diddy, Keri Hilson, Kandi, Jamie Foxx are also promoting their latest projects at various shows and appearances.

Romeo
 
The Holiday season seems to have Master P’s offspring, Romeo a little blue about the demise of his love affair with heiress Katlin Najjar, tweeting, “Xmas shopping with the fam. Man I wish I had a girl so I could get her some gifts...more presents for the fam ha.”

Ludacris
 
Rapper Ludacris’ New Year’s resolution is strictly to the parents. He said, “over 250 Families in my hood lost their houses 2 fires this year. By teaching these kids fire safety we r making sure this # decreases n 2011.”

Wale
 
Young rapper Wale, has a lot to be thankful for this holiday season, he recently told a fan, “Jus made 80k in two days, how u think its goin?” – Hmmmm, cocky much?!? The rapper will spend Christmas night partying in DC at Love Nightclub, “hey ya’ll make sure you come out to Love this Sat for my Christmas party...everybody free all night!”
