The public had it all wrong about Christina Milian’s divorce, but she set the record straight yesterday.

 
The singer stopped by “The Wendy Williams Show” yesterday to promote her upcoming movie on ABC Family, Christmas Cupid. But while Christina was on the couch, she took some time to clear up a few things about her divorce from The Dream.


 
MediaTakeOut.com reported a while back that the producer was paying Christina $4 million in their settlement. Supposedly, the hefty sum was hush money as part of a gag order he put on Christina. 


 
The singer said that nothing could be further from the truth.
 
“I have no idea where that rumor came from, and it’s completely a rumor. Everything about that is all fictitious,” Christina said. “I’m completely allowed to speak about anything that I want to—expect the settlement. We do choose to not make that public.”
 
Christina didn’t disclose exactly how much she was getting in the divorce, but she did divulge one settlement detail.
 
“We chose to keep it really simple. I really want my daughter to have her father around,” the singer said, speaking on their baby Violet.
