Gabrielle Union hosts 2011 BET Honors
Gabrielle Union will once again be mistress of ceremonies for the BET Honors in January.
BET announced this morning that Gabby has been invited back to host the Honors for the third year in a row. As per her usual duties, she’ll keep the show rolling along as the network recognizes six exceptional people for outstanding achievements in their respective fields.
This year Cicely Tyson will get the BET Honor for the Theatrical Arts, and Jamie Foxx is getting the Entertainment Honor.
Supermodel-entrepreneur-Reality TV diva Iman will be taking a little break from the boardroom to receive the BET Honor for Service. The Honor for Media will go to Johnson Publishing head Linda Johnson Rice.
BET will also pay tribute to Herbie Hancock and historian Lonnie G. Bunch during the ceremony on January 15 in Washington, D.C. The BET Honors will air
on February 21 at 9:00 p.m.
