Could Wale be jumping ship at Interscope Records to sign with Rick Ross’ label?
 
A source close to Wale told TheUrbanDaily.com that the D.C. rapper is looking for a new label home because things at Interscope aren’t so great anymore. This news follows months of gossip that Interscope might be dumping Wale after just one album.

 
So where might Wale wind up? After a couple cryptic posts on Twitter, he has many people speculating that he’ll land on Rick’s label.


 
“It had to be done..2011 gonna be serious situation RT @rickyrozay: @Wale it’s a lifestyle, “ Wale tweeted yesterday. “Maybach Music.”


 
He added, “New Year, new sounds, new deal, same Olubowale 2011 is gonna be beautiful.” 


 
The insider claims that Wale’s tweets don’t necessarily mean he’s signing with Rick. However, the source did confirm that the “Pretty Girls” rapper was in Miami working with Rick on a more radio-friendly sound.
