Vivica Fox told us that you shouldn’t believe the hype about her friends hating on her man.


 
Last week it was reported that Vivica’s friends, not including Star Jones, weren’t exactly thrilled that the actress is engaged to an Atlanta club promoter named Slim, a much-younger man. There were whispers from inside Viv’s camp that she had threatened to unfriend people that didn’t fall in line with her decision.
 
Today, however, Vivica cleared up those crazy accusations, telling S2S exclusively, “It is completely not true!! All of my friends are very happy for me!”
 
And the doubts about Slim’s motives for popping the question? Completely ridiculous.
 
“He is such a wonderful man n he makes me very happy,” Vivica assured. “Very down to earth and fun!”


 
We’re happy to hear that everything is going great in their circle, but there’s still no word on a wedding date at this time.
