Justin Timberlake tuning up?
Justin Timberlake hasn't got anything on his acting plate right now, so he's reverting back to his musical roots.
Justin's often said recently that he's really more into acting than singing these days, which explains why we haven't heard much out of him since 2006's FutureSex/LoveSounds. The singer revealed to E! News yesterday, however, that that could change very soon.
"I think I may spend some time in the studio this summer," Justin said.
After his work in The Social Network, he hasn't really lined up any other acting gigs. With all that time on his hands, Justin figures he may as well use the time constructively. "I'm unemployed right now," he admitted. "I haven't been hired for anything so I may hire myself to write some music. ... It's right around the corner."
Justin's not too rusty in the studio, though. The singer has done a number of collaborations over the years, including songs with Rihanna, Ciara and Madonna. Back in November, Drake hinted that he might get Justin to do a track with him as well.
"I've always wanted to work with him, and it's in the works now," Drake teased. "Me and Justin Timberlake will probably have a song soon."
