Viola Davis stars in 'The Help'
Viola Davis is taking on race relations and breaking societal roles in her upcoming film The Help.
Viola stars as Aibileen, a maid working for a White family in 1960s Mississippi, who forms an alliance with a journalist named Skeeter (played by Emma Stone). The movie, being released by Dreamworks this August, also stars Octavia Spencer as another maid named Minny.
The Help focus on the womens' work to combat segregation where they work and in the communities where they live. Although the film, based on the book by Kathryn Stockett, centers on a serious matter there are a few funny moments in the movie.
