Lil Wayne, who has rapped about wanting "every girl in the world," may be more of a one-woman man than he lets on.

We know he was once wed to Toya Carter, and engaged to singer Nivea; now Lauren London has revealed that she was almost Mrs. Carter, too.

“We were engaged briefly years ago, but we eventually parted ways,” she recently told Skin Deep’s Kathleen Cross.

Lauren, who’s tired of her relationship with Weezy being categorized as a fling, said, “I met Dwayne when I was 15 years old. I’ve known him a very long time, and we were in a relationship that didn’t make it.

“People see the ‘Lil Wayne’ persona and think they know who he really is. My son’s father is an intelligent, loving and lovable person who will always be a dear friend,” she added.

Now the father of four is dating a woman identified as Dhea, and shots of the two holding hands while walking along the beach suggest that their relationship might also be more than a fling.

Lauren, who plays an unattached woman on the much-talked-about VH1 movie Single Ladies, has been linked with a few celebrity men, including Trey Songz and the NFL’s Michael Hamlin. However, Lauren works hard to keep her business out of the streets as much as possible. 

“I’m such a private person. I was never interested in becoming famous. I still struggle with that aspect of my work … I struggle with deciding when to answer or ignore the constant speculation about my private life because I feel like that doesn’t belong to anybody but me,” she said.
