Big Boi, daughter launch Purple Ribbon Kidz
Big Boi is ready for the next generation to take over and is helping his daughter, Jordan Patton, launch a new label for tweens.
Jordan, 16, has already signed Internet sensation Gabbie Rae to the Purple Ribbon Kidz label.
On Sunday, a proud Big Boi introduced his thankful daughter to a room full of exuberant kids.
“Today is a special day for me, my dad and the rest of my family. I’m very grateful to my dad for having so much faith in me and giving me such a wonderful opportunity,” she said.
“Im looking forward to making Purple Kidz something that everyone can be proud of. … This is going to be a great journey and I’m looking forward to every step of it,” she said.
Gabbie Rae, Cypress and the group Audio all performed at the event.
Dondria Verse Simmons and Shanti Das were all present.
