R.Kelly has to come up with more money to pay off a hefty debt to the IRS.

Just call it the most recent blow the Pied Piper of R&B. The Detroit News reports that the IRS is coming after the "Ignition" singer for some overdue funds.

Supposedly Kellz owes $837,000 in unpaid federal taxes. The agency already filed a tax lien against him in January 2010, but in exchange it lifted another one for $1.3 million that had already been in place last month.

This news comes as the crooner continues to heal from emergency throat surgery, which caused him to cancel a show in Jamaica. He made it out of surgery safely, but there's no word on his condition or when he'll return to the stage at this time.

R.Kelly is also battling other financial problems as his mansion in the suburbs of Chicago is facing foreclosure.
