Kelly Rowland: ‘I’ve been through the frustration point’
Kelly Rowland has accepted that she’ll always be compared to Beyoncé, but she said there’s really no competition between the two former Destiny Child singers.
“That is my sister. I love her incredibly,” Kelly told Gayle King. “It gets frustrating, but I’ve been through that frustration point and out of it now ‘cause I know I’m standing in my own light,” the “Motivation” singer said.
Gayle said she could relate to Kelly in that they’re both BFFs of pop-culture icons.

Sherri Shepherd disses ‘DWTS’?
Sherri Shepherd is too busy with her son, man and TV show to bother with “Dancing With the Stars,” according to TMZ.
“The View” host is reportedly being courted by the hit ABC show, but Sherri, who is planning a dance for her upcoming wedding ceremony, is apparently uninterested in bringing her talents to the weekly show.
There are also rumors that Evelyn Lozada, Mike Tyson and Christina Milian are possible contestants for the upcoming season, but the network hasn’t confirmed the roster yet.

Will Arsenio replace Mo’Nique?
Arsenio Hall is ready to return to late-night TV.
“Give me a microphone… I’m ready to host,” Arsenio recently told TV reporters.
“I think it’s a perfect time for that personally,” he said.
“The Mo’Nique Show,” the only late-night talk show in recent years that featured a Black host, is reportedly being cancelled, which would leave an opening for a show that strives to highlight African-American talent.
However, Arsenio backpedaled a bit when pressed on the issue.
“I’m not sure if it’s too crowded for a 55-year-old guy to re-emerge, but if they give me a little daylight, I’m gonna slide into it.”
Maybe Arsenio will be the next Oprah.

Oprah Winfrey sued … again
While the Bible tells anyone who’ll read it that “all things are possible through Christ,” it seems Own Your Power Communications, Inc. is claiming it came up with the concept, and the fact that Oprah has been telling her fans that same thing is now the focus of a new lawsuit against the mogul.
According to OYP, the concept of humans being able to achieve their dreams is trademarked and the Oprah October 2010 issue with the words “Own Your Power” on the cover was a “brazenly unlawful disregard” for OYP’s branding.
“Harpo has not been served and we have no information about what allegations are being made,” a Harpo rep told The Hollywood Reporter.
