Kelly Rowland talks Beyoncé and baby
Kelly Rowland, who knew about Beyoncé's baby bump waaay before the rest of us, thinks Bey's going to be a great mommy!
While blogs, discussion boards, and social media sites went crazy over the news that Bey is having a baby, her former band mate, Kelly Rowland told People.com, “I have known for quite a while, and she’s happy, and Jay is happy, and that’s all that counts."
Bey’s camp has done exceptionally well with keeping the secret under wraps, but a representative told the New York Post she was “happy to confirm” that the singer is indeed pregnant.
Earlier this summer, Beyoncé gave an ideal time she’d want to give birth, telling Piers Morgan, “I always said I’d have a baby at 30. I’m 29. …I feel like 30 is the ideal age, because you’re mature enough to know who you are and have your boundaries and your standards and not be afraid or too polite, but young enough to be a young woman. I’m so looking forward to it”.
Though we know for sure that the chart-topper is pregnant, we have no word yet on exactly when to be expecting the mini-mogul. Regardless of when s/he makes its highly anticipated debut into the world, Kelly can assure us that Beyoncé will be an incredible mother.
"She’s always been so motherly," Kelly said during the House of Hype VMA afterparty. "I think that she takes after so many traits from her mother. And I just think it’s going to be so natural for her. It’s natural for her now!”
