Will and Jada: We're still together
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith said their marriage is solid as a rock.
Remember when Will said "divorce is not an option" for him and Jada? Well, they still mean it! The powerful pair have released a joint statement denying rumors of their split.
Yesterday, reports that Will and Jada had decided to separate after 13 year of marriage spread like wildfire. The news was met with as much speculation as it was shock because it was hard to believe that one of Hollywood's most-beloved (and strongest) couples were calling it quits. There were also rumors that the marriage was ending because Jada was having an affair with Marc Anthony, who just broke up with Jennifer Lopez.
It took Will and Jada all day to speak up, but the twosome finally shut down the gossip with a very simple message to the public.
"Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false," Will and Jada said in the brief statement. "We are still together, and our marriage is intact."
Will's oldest son, Trey Smith, also did his part to dispell the rumors.
"Did #WillandJada split? No they did NOT split ! False information," he tweeted to his 9,500+ followers, prompting them to retweet the truth. "Everyone can think what they want .. even if its not true #Lame."
He later added, "Let me just say.. the rumors need to stop. Will and Jada aren't getting divorced #ItsAllLies."
A source told TMZ.com, though, that not all is at it seems in the Smith household because the couple is having some serious marital problems. Still, the insider maintains that the Smiths have not decided to separate.
