Marc Anthony denies Jada Pinkett Smith affair

Marc Anthony said he’s heard it all when it comes to stories about his rumored infidelity, but he’s particularly perturbed by stories that he carried on an affair with Jada Pinkett Smith.

“What bothers me is the effect it has on family, to Will and Jada's circle, and their children and their relatives to their loved ones,” Marc recently told ABC’s “Nightline.”

Marc, who co-stars with Jada on her show “HawthoRNe,” does admit that he has a relationship with Jada and Will.

“We've been friends for years,” said Marc who described the rumors as “laughable.”

Although the Smiths have denied that extramarital relationships are threatening their marriage, the rumors continue, bolstered by the steamy on-screen chemistry between Jada and Marc.

While Jada and Will released a statement confirming that they’re still happily married, Marc and soon-to-be ex, Jennifer Lopez, are through; although, he said there was no one event that ended things.

“It’s a decision that we made jointly. It wasn’t some sensationalistic happening. It wasn’t shocking. These things happen,” said Marc who plans to continue his working relationship with Jennifer.

“I’ll always love Jennifer,” he said.
