Lil Wayne not impressed by Nicki Minaj
Lil Wayne thinks his Young Money protege Nicki Minaj needs to step up her game.
Nicki may have earned a spot performing with Madonna at Super Bowl XLVI next year, but Weezy thinks she can do better.
"I’m not satisfied with anything she’s done," he told Vibe magazine in a recent interview.
Once she hit the national stage, Nicki's had an impressive career. Before her Pink Friday album went platinum, Nicki made a name for herself by collaborating with the likes of Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Usher and Robin Thicke among others.
Even with an impressive resume like that, Wayne said she's still not showing fans even half of what he thinks she can do as an artist.
"I believe she can do a whole lot more, and I believe she will do a whole lot more," explained Weezy. "It’s not shocking, and it’s not surprising. It’s quite fitting. But other than that, it’s nowhere near the end."
With "Super Bass" surpassing the 3-million mark in digital sales, there's really no telling how far she could go with her music.
However, it is safe to say that Nicki has more than made her mark on pop culture as MyPinkFriday.com reports that she is one of the most-Googled halloween costumes.
