NeNe Leakes opens restaurant
NeNe Leakes is the latest celeb to get into the food game, but she's not playing in Atlanta.
The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star announced that she's opening up her own restaurant, catering to hungry travelers in Sacramento, California.
"Comin through Sacramento CA anytime soon? Check out my new restaurant Famous Famiglia opens OCT 6!" she tweeted recently. Her franchise is an Italian eatery.
According to StraightFromTheA.com, this could be the first of several fast food restaurants NeNe plans to open.
That might not be the only solo venture for NeNe, who is the third rumored "Real Housewives of Atlanta" cast mate to be getting her own spinoff. NeNe's prospective show will be produced by True Entertainment, which also handles "RHOA" and Kandi Burruss' upcoming show, a source told Straight From the A.
It's not clear what NeNe's show would be about, or where it will take place, but there is speculation that it could be about NeNe living the single life in Los Angeles.
