Halle Berry's stalker pleads not guilty
Halle Berry's stalker doesn't think he was doing anything wrong when trying to get close to the actress.
E! News reports that Richard Franco, the man accused of breaking onto Halle's property, has pleaded not guilty to charges of felony burglary and stalking.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has now schedule Richard's trial for just before Christmas. The man has been locked up since July 11 when he was arrested after his third attempt to sneak into Halle's house in the Hollywood Hills.
On one occasion, the stalker had managed to break into the actress' guest house. He'd also scaled her security wall. But perhaps the most-terryifying run-in for Halle was when Richard managed to follow her to her kitchen door.
Richard is expected back in court for his pre-trial hearing on November 28 and his trial is slated to begin on December 20.
