Preview: 'My Life II'
Mary J. Blige surprised fans with a preview of her new album, My Life II: The Journey Continues.
With a little less than two weeks to go until Mary drops her next album, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul couldn't keep herself from teasing the project. That's why she let Amazon.com post a preview of My Life II, which gives listeners an intimate look at the diva.
My Life II starts out fairly upbeat with songs like "Fee Inside," "Next Level," "25/8" and even a remix of "Ain't Nobody." The album takes a more thoughtful turn on track 7, titled "Don't Mind."
The second half of the album really explores the more unsure moments of a relationship where you're not sure if you want to leave your sweetie or if you want to try and stick it out.
It's complex; it's soulful; it's Mary. Take a listen here!
