There's some confusion about when Fantasia delivered her son, but we're about to clear it up.

It seems that Vibe got it wrong when reporting that Fantasia's son had been delivered on Monday.

Contrary to what others may have heard, a source close to Fantasia told S2S that her baby boy, Dallas Xavier Barrino, was born on Tuesday, December 13, at 4:15 p.m. EST.

That means that Fantasia was in labor for just about 24 hours because she checked into a North Carolina hospital at 1:30 on Monday. He arrived about two weeks ahead of schedule since the singer's original due date was December 29.

Dallas weighed in at 7 pounds and 9 ounces when he was born, measuring 21 inches. He joins big sister Zion, 10. Although this is Fantasia's second child, it is her first with boyfriend Antwaun Cook.

We're told that mother and son are doing well now.
