What’s baby Blue Ivy eating right now? What is she wearing? What is she listening to? How frequently does she blink? Everyone wants to know the 411 on Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s new bundle of joy. Rumors have been flying about the bundle of joy since the news of the pregnancy hit.

The most recent gossip is that media mogul Oprah Winfrey is the baby’s godmother. Although that would be a perfect fairy tale, Oprah’s BFF Gayle King said it isn’t true.

“Let me just say if that’s true it is news to her,” Gayle said on CBS’ “The Early Show.”

“She was headed to South Africa when baby Blue was born, she didn’t even know the baby had been born yet. So, no, it’s absolutely not true that she’s the godmother,” Gayle said.

According to reports, Oprah, who is the godmother of Gayle’s two children, has yet to send baby Blue a gift because of her hectic schedule.

“She’s working on sending them a baby gift. She hasn’t even had time to send a baby gift because she’s been away,” said Gayle.
