Kardashian brand kaput?

E! sees ratings dip for Kardashian content

America could be tired of keeping up with the Kardashian clan if recent numbers are any indication.

The Kardashians may want to hold off on doing that magazine all about their family for now.

The New York Post reports that E! saw a 14 percent drop in the ratings for "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" this season. The show is down half a million viewers from the previous cycle.

It seems the brand jumped the shark with "Kim's Fairytale Wedding." Interest in the family began to decrease following Kim's shockingly short 72-day marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries.

The trend has also fallen onto the newsstand as sales for In Touch, Life & Style, OK! and Us Weekly dipped 18 percent last month whenever a Kardashian graced the cover.

Putting it bluntly, New York publicist R. Couri Hay said, "I'm bored with them." He's not interested in pushing “Kim Kardashian and her little clunky sisters.”

And he's not the only one trying to keep away from the Kardashians. Club promoters no longer seem interested in having the sisters make a appearances at their events.

Travis Bass, the co-owner of Chinatown hotspot Red Egg said he doesn't want them anywhere near his establishment for fear it could ruin his brand. “I’d pay her $600,000 personally not to go to Red Egg,” Travis said. “Kim Kardashian would be crushing to us. We’d have a meeting Monday and talk about how that happened.”
