Paula Patton and hubby Robin Thicke have to catch up on some taxes this year.

According to DetroitNews.com the celebrity couple owes nearly  $500,000 in back taxes.

On December 28, the IRS filed a lien against Paula and Robin Thicke for $492,583.

Public record shows that address listed on the lien is a post office box in Santa Monica, California, but Paula and Robin do have a home in Los Angeles.

Supposedly, the pair didn't know about their tremendous debt until Friday.

“They were just made aware of the issue and it is being taken care of immediately,”a rep for the couple said.
