Cynthia explains why she loves NeNe
Cynthia Bailey has been accused of following after “Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star NeNe Leakes like a lost puppy, but Cynthia, who strongly asserts that she’s her own person, explains why the two “talls” are such good friends.
“NeNe’s always been very supportive and very loving. I have no control over editing and what they choose to show on the show, but please believe me, NeNe supports 100 percent,” said Cynthia, who said NeNe helped her adjust to the world of reality TV.
“I’ve definitely gone to her for a lot of guidance. She’s been in this game a lot longer than I have, and I think she’s smart, and she’s an incredible businesswoman,” she said.
Regardless of how close she is with NeNe, Cynthia said when NeNe really needs someone to turn to, she still reaches out to her estranged husband, Gregg Leakes.
“Anytime NeNe really wants to talk to somebody she really considers a true friend, she’s going to call Gregg first, and I don’t think that’s gonna change,” she said.
